Senior Software Engineer – Epic HB/PB

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead Epic HB/PB implementations and support within our healthcare IT team. The role involves customizing Epic modules, building workflows, and ensuring system stability for billing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Customize Epic modules, design and maintain system builds and workflows.
• Analyze workflows with leadership to identify bottlenecks and close gaps.
• Investigate software issues, apply system updates and provide tier‑2/3 end‑user support, including on‑call duties.
• Perform bill area, department, provider, cost‑center, CER rule and payer/plan updates.
• Create test scripts and execute unit testing prior to go‑lives and version upgrades.

Required profile

• Active EpicCare HB or PB certification.
• 3–5 years of Epic implementation or support experience, especially in billing environments.
• Strong understanding of healthcare billing processes; Cadence certification is a plus.
