Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack Development

About the role

BlackStone eIT is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to own the development, enhancement and technical support of the Chamber's e-services portal, public website and CMS. The role delivers secure bilingual digital services and keeps them connected to backend APIs and enterprise applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Next.js e-services, including application forms, document uploads, request tracking, payment journeys and customer accounts.
• Build React/Next.js website features, configure Strapi content types, components, permissions, publishing workflows and API integrations.
• Develop and maintain Node.js services and middleware, including business validation, authentication, error handling and API orchestration.
• Connect digital channels to Dynamics 365, Dataverse, payment services and government APIs with the integration engineer.
• Deliver Arabic/English interfaces, RTL layouts, responsive designs and accessible user journeys.
• Perform code reviews, run automated component and API tests, fix defects, performance issues and security vulnerabilities.
• Investigate incidents, implement fixes and coordinate deployments with QA and Cloud/DevOps.
• Maintain technical documentation, support knowledge transfer and provide backup coverage for mobile and backend services.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including enterprise or government digital services.
• Proven experience delivering bilingual Arabic/English solutions and RTL interfaces.
• Ability to own applications independently and work with business departments, vendors and technical teams.

Required skills

• React.js and Next.js (at least 3 years), including production e-services portals.
• Node.js (at least 3 years) and REST API integration.
• Strapi or a comparable headless CMS, including content modelling, permissions and deployment.
• React Native (at least 2 years).
• SQL Server, Dataverse and Dynamics 365 integration.
• Secure authentication, authorization, input validation, file-upload protection and secrets handling.
• Git, code reviews, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
