Senior Specialist - eCommerce and Web Development

About the role

The Senior Specialist - eCommerce and Web Development coordinates e-commerce and website enhancement activities, supports digital customer experience initiatives and analyzes platform performance to drive online growth and operational effectiveness. The role covers website maintenance, digital campaigns, customer engagement and performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate web development and website enhancement activities in line with approved digital initiatives and business requirements.
• Maintain and optimize website content, including product listings, landing pages, merchandising and promotional materials.
• Work with internal stakeholders, external agencies, developers and technology vendors on e-commerce projects.
• Support continuous improvement of website functionality, usability and digital customer experience.
• Coordinate product launches, online campaigns, email marketing and other digital initiatives.
• Support e-commerce optimization by monitoring conversion performance, customer journeys and engagement metrics.
• Coordinate CRM and customer engagement activities such as segmentation, targeted campaigns and personalization.
• Analyze digital performance with analytics and reporting tools and give insights for business decisions.
• Ensure website quality, content accuracy and consistency across channels and devices.
• Collaborate with customer service, sales, marketing and technology teams on online sales and customer experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong Shopify experience is a must; Shopify Plus experience is preferred as the platform used is Shopify Plus.
• Practical experience of email marketing, segmentation, targeted campaigns and CRM tools.
• Previous marketplace experience such as Amazon and Noon is good to have but not required.
• Regional coverage: Morocco, UAE, Lebanon, Oman, Iraq (regional experience not strictly required).

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of Shopify analytics, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and SEO fundamentals.
