Senior Specialist - Employee Happiness & Wellbeing

About the role

The Senior Specialist – Employee Happiness & Wellbeing will shape internal communication strategies and design programmes that boost employee engagement, satisfaction and overall wellbeing across the organisation. Reporting to the Human Resources and Development Management team, you will work closely with multiple business units to identify improvement areas and deliver innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal communication channels, including digital platforms, advertising spaces and smart applications.
• Analyse the effectiveness of inter‑departmental communication and propose enhancements to promote transparency and collaboration.
• Design, implement and monitor happiness, engagement and wellbeing initiatives aligned with organisational targets.
• Plan and execute major internal recognition events such as the annual ceremony and leadership forums.
• Study reward and incentive programmes, contribute to the instant‑rewards system (TAMAYYAZ Box) and prepare annual budget and impact reports.
• Investigate employee grievances, coordinate with relevant committees and follow up on decisions in partnership with legal affairs.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to the line manager and undertake additional tasks as required.

Required profile

• Minimum eight years (96 months) of experience in HR, internal communications or employee engagement.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience with benchmarking and reporting.
• Familiarity with UAE labour laws and corporate governance processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
