Senior Specialist Survey and GIS

About the role

The Senior Specialist Survey and GIS will lead planning, execution and supervision of field survey activities for AD Ports Group. The role ensures accurate geospatial data collection and delivery of high‑quality survey products to support engineering, construction and development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and supervise plot demarcation, staking‑out, topographic and geodetic surveys.
• Guide prospective investors during site visits and verify land against their requirements.
• Prepare and hand over land property documentation after lease agreements.
• Supervise outsourced survey contractors and maintain up‑to‑date land records and spatial databases.
• Produce technical drawings, maps and GIS outputs and perform survey calculations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Surveying or equivalent (minimum).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in surveying, preferably in municipalities, town planning, dedicated surveying firms or consulting/contracting engineering companies.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is preferred.

Required skills

• Field surveying techniques (plot demarcation, staking‑out, topographic, geodetic).
• Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial database management.
• Survey data processing and calculation.
