Senior Specialist SysOps (DevOps)

About the role

The Senior Specialist SysOps (DevOps) will manage, optimise and secure enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms, ensuring high availability, performance and operational excellence for both internal and customer‑hosted services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and implement new projects and technologies, providing L2/L3 operational support, incident handling and change management.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, conduct root‑cause analysis, enforce security policies and maintain health checks and backup/recovery processes.
• Deploy, administer and optimise Microsoft Azure services, support cloud migration, hybrid‑cloud integration and cost‑optimisation initiatives.
• Manage containerised workloads with Kubernetes, Docker and Helm, implementing GitOps‑based deployment and configuration management.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible and Bicep, and maintain version‑controlled modules and templates.
• Design, build and optimise CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab and Azure DevOps, embedding security and compliance checks.
• Create automation scripts in Bash, PowerShell, Python and YAML to reduce manual effort and integrate enterprise APIs.
• Implement monitoring and observability solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor and Log Analytics, performing capacity planning and performance tuning.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure, cloud platforms and DevOps.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or related field, or equivalent solid work experience.
• Relevant certifications such as Red Hat RHCSA/RHCE and Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate are preferred.
