Senior Staff Nurse - OPD

About the role

The Senior Staff Nurse will lead the clinical operations of an outpatient department, ensuring coordinated, safe, and patient‑centered care. This role works closely with the Patient Relations Supervisor and the Satellite Clinic Director to maintain high standards of service and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the clinical aspects of the clinic, coordinating patient flow and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, document care plans, and revise them as needed.
• Supervise nursing staff, maintain competency records, and ensure mandatory education and accreditation requirements are met.
• Oversee supply and equipment availability, handle narcotic drug administration, and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities, incident reporting, and unit meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification and registration as a Registered Nurse in the home country or last employment country.
• Minimum three to five years of recent post‑graduate nursing experience, with prior team‑lead or senior RN experience preferred.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Ability to hold a valid nursing license and meet Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) education requirements.
