Senior Structural Engineer (Buildings)

About the role

Zutari, a leading engineering and advisory firm in the Middle East, seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the design and construction supervision of complex building structures, including high‑rise towers, long‑span steel roofs and mixed‑use developments.

Key responsibilities

• Site supervision of reinforced concrete, post‑tensioned slabs, structural steel and composite structures.
• Oversight of deep foundations, transfer girders, cantilevered elements and complex load‑transfer systems.
• Review and approval of shop drawings, method statements and material submittals for innovative structural systems.
• Monitoring and inspection of specialized works such as mega columns, outrigger systems and large‑span trusses.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams to resolve design‑build challenges and value‑engineer solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, UAE authority requirements and international standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 8 + years of UAE/Dubai site supervision experience on complex building projects.
• Strong knowledge of ACI, BS, Eurocodes and UAE local authority regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• UAE Society of Engineers registration is an advantage.
