Senior System & Network Engineer (Odoo Developer)

About the role

Talent Bridge HR Consultancy is recruiting, on behalf of its client, a Senior System & Network Engineer (listed also as Senior Odoo Developer) for a full-time, on-site position in Dubai, UAE. The client is a long-standing organisation involved in construction, oil and gas, retail, hospitality, healthcare, education and related sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain servers, networks and workstations
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot outages to ensure high availability
• Maintain and administer networks, hardware, systems software, applications and configurations
• Perform disaster recovery and data backup operations
• Implement network security measures, including firewalls, and protect data, software and hardware
• Replace faulty network hardware and maintain antivirus and email applications
• Document configurations, changes and procedures, and provide technical support to users
• Assist in network and system architecture planning and stay current with security trends

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience
• CCNP certification
• Hands-on experience with networking, routing, switching and firewall configuration
• Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools, and with cloud services such as AWS and Azure
