Senior Tax Accountant – Global Indirect Tax

About the role

Reach is a fast‑growing FinTech that acts as a global Merchant of Record, helping ecommerce and SaaS businesses expand internationally. As a Senior Tax Accountant you will lead the end‑to‑end compliance of VAT, GST and sales tax across multiple jurisdictions, supporting the company’s rapid global scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file VAT, GST and sales‑tax returns in all required jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure timely, accurate compliance.
• Analyse transaction data, investigate discrepancies and recommend process improvements.
• Research international tax legislation changes and assess their impact on Reach.
• Provide tax‑related guidance to internal teams.
• Contribute to automation initiatives and AI‑assisted tax workflows.
• Partner with Data, Operations and Finance teams to enhance tax reporting and processes.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in indirect tax or tax accounting.
• Proven experience managing multi‑jurisdiction VAT, GST or sales‑tax compliance.
• Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or a related discipline.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet multiple deadlines.
• Interest in AI‑assisted workflows and process automation.
