Senior Technical Account Manager – Enterprise Support (MENAT)

About the role

As a Senior Technical Account Manager in AWS Enterprise Support, you will partner with the world’s largest enterprises to help them maximise value from AWS services. You will act as the technical leader and advocate for customers, shaping cloud strategies across compute, storage, AI/ML, networking and more.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions while providing technical guidance and advocating for the customer.
• Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy, reducing cost and complexity.
• Develop trusted relationships by understanding business needs and technical challenges.
• Drive technical discussions on incidents, trade‑offs and risk management with senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services, and Sales Account Managers.
• Proactively identify opportunities for customers to gain additional AWS value.
• Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions and support migration of workloads to the cloud.

Required profile

• 10+ years in technical roles such as distributed systems, cloud architecture, software development, or AI/ML.
• Experience in a customer‑facing technical role (e.g., TAM, Solutions Architect, consultant).
• Hands‑on troubleshooting across compute, storage, networking, databases, AI/ML, containers, DevOps, big data and security.
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions with engineering teams and executive stakeholders.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of distributed systems design and large‑scale automation.
• Professional experience with AWS services (or Azure/GCP equivalents).
• Expertise in AI/ML workloads, foundation models, inference infrastructure, and MLOps.
• Container orchestration (EKS, ECS, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK.
