Senior Technical Engineer - End User Technology

About the role

Emirates Group is seeking a Senior Technical Engineer to join its Platform Engineering team and drive the end‑user technology strategy across the organisation. You will design, deliver and support secure, reliable computing services for a diverse fleet of devices while collaborating with business and IT stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and support secure end‑user computing services across the Emirates Group.
• Manage the lifecycle of Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, rugged devices and the corporate printer estate.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to introduce new hardware and services while aligning with roadmaps and standards.
• Provide Level 3 support, resolve incidents within agreed service levels and drive problem‑management activities.
• Own change management, documentation and end‑of‑life replacement of equipment and software.

Required profile

• Degree or Honours in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of IT engineering experience, preferably in endpoint management.

Required skills

• Expertise with Microsoft Intune, SCCM and Entra ID for endpoint management.
• Proficiency in Windows 11, macOS, iOS, Android and rugged devices.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Modern Workplace and endpoint security controls.
• Experience with application deployment, patching, compliance and device lifecycle management.
• Enterprise printing and printer‑estate management.
• Active Directory, Conditional Access and security policy configuration.
• Technical design, automation and service‑improvement capabilities.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot and ChatGPT Enterprise.
• Level 3 support, problem‑management and root‑cause analysis.
• Technical documentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
