Senior Test Engineer - Trade Finance Digitalization (Temenos T24)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer to lead end‑to‑end testing of a Trade Finance Digital Portal that integrates with the Temenos T24 core banking system. The role requires deep knowledge of Trade Finance processes, strong QA leadership, and hands‑on experience delivering complex digital transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute test strategy, planning, estimation, execution, defect management and reporting for the digital portal.
• Mentor and manage a team of Testers, Senior Testers and T24 Testers.
• Design functional, integration, regression, UAT and end‑to‑end test scenarios covering BPM/workflows, APIs and Temenos T24.
• Validate Trade Finance modules (LC, LC Drawings, Documentary Collections, Trade Loans, Delivery) and SWIFT message generation.
• Verify straight‑through processing, maker‑checker flows, charges, commissions, accounting entries, limits and collateral.
• Lead defect triage, stakeholder communication, quality reporting and release readiness.
• Support security, RBAC, KYC/AML, audit trails, performance and reconciliation testing.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Development and Automation teams.

Required profile

• Immediate availability to work on‑site in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• 10+ years of QA experience in banking, with at least 5 years focused on Trade Finance testing.
• Proven experience with Temenos T24 Trade Finance modules and digital banking portal integrations.
• Strong understanding of Trade Finance products, workflows and transaction lifecycle.
• Hands‑on experience with STP validation, API testing, SWIFT messaging and integration testing.
• Familiarity with defect management tools such as JIRA and Agile test governance.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
