Senior Training Supervisor

About the role

The Senior Training Supervisor leads a team of Training Supervisors and coordinates operational activity across classroom, practical, digital and competency‑based learning. Reporting to the Training Manager, the role ensures training programmes are delivered efficiently, comply with regulatory standards and drive business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the approved Training Strategy and Annual Training Plan, monitoring effectiveness, compliance and business impact.
• Supervise Training Supervisors, monitor their performance, workload and competency, and conduct audits and quality‑assurance reviews.
• Coordinate training delivery across departments, ensuring resources, facilities and instructors are used cost‑effectively.
• Maintain CMS and LMS data integrity, verify training records, and report on learner outcomes and certification status.
• Act as the primary operational contact for training and competence matters, supporting audits, inspections and regulatory reviews.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in any discipline; professional membership of a recognised institution and internationally recognised assessor/verifier awards.
• Minimum 3‑5 years experience in a railway, metro or engineering environment, with at least 3‑5 years in a training function and team‑management role.
• Experience with Dubai Metro or Tram operations is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Content Management Systems (CMS) for assessment and verification.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) for digital learning delivery and reporting.
• Knowledge of NVQ assessment processes and qualification administration.
