Senior Treasury Systems Specialist (Remote)

About the role

A fully remote, full-time Senior Treasury Systems Specialist is sought to manage, optimise and support treasury technology platforms covering cash management, liquidity monitoring, payment processing, bank connectivity and financial risk reporting. The role bridges treasury operations and technology, keeping systems reliable, secure and accurate, and is based in the United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee configuration, maintenance and support of treasury management systems and related fintech platforms
• Maintain system settings, workflows, user permissions, approval hierarchies and reporting configurations
• Support cash position monitoring, liquidity forecasts, bank balances and cash movements
• Coordinate bank statement feeds, payment interfaces and electronic banking connections
• Support payment initiation, approval workflows, file generation, validation and status monitoring
• Investigate reconciliation discrepancies and support bank reconciliations
• Diagnose application errors, failed interfaces and rejected payment files; manage support tickets and incidents
• Support implementations, upgrades, testing and post-deployment stabilisation
• Gather requirements with treasury, finance, accounting, IT and banking stakeholders
• Develop test scenarios and run functional, integration, regression and UAT testing
• Support cash position reports, liquidity forecasts, payment summaries and bank fee reports
• Maintain payment approval controls, segregation of duties, audit trails and access management
• Validate master data, bank account information and interface outputs; support compliance and documentation
• Liaise with vendors, banks and implementation partners; identify automation opportunities; support business continuity planning
• Provide virtual training and technical guidance to treasury users

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Treasury Management, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline
• At least 5-8 years of experience in treasury systems, treasury operations technology, financial systems support or banking technology
• Strong understanding of TMS, cash management, payment workflows and bank connectivity
• Experience with treasury platforms such as Kyriba, SAP Treasury, FIS, GTreasury or ION Treasury
• Ability to work independently from home and with international teams

Required skills

• Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle ERP or Microsoft Dynamics
• Understanding of ISO 20022 and SWIFT-related processes
• Knowledge of SQL, APIs, integration platforms or data transformation tools is an advantage
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial reporting or data analysis tools
