Senior VRF & Chiller Installation & Service Technician

About the role

WAHA AIR is seeking a highly experienced Senior VRF & Chiller Installation and Service Technician to join its HVAC team in Dubai. The role involves full‑cycle responsibility for installing, commissioning, maintaining and troubleshooting both VRF and chiller systems on site.

Key responsibilities

• Complete installation, testing, commissioning and startup of VRF systems, including copper piping, brazing, pressure testing, nitrogen charging, vacuuming, refrigerant charging and leak detection.
• Install indoor/outdoor units, branch selector boxes, controllers and communication wiring; perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot VRF communication faults, refrigerant circuit issues, PCB, inverter, sensor, compressor and electrical problems.
• Read and interpret HVAC drawings, refrigerant piping layouts and control diagrams.
• Install, test, commission and service air‑cooled and water‑cooled chillers, covering screw, scroll, centrifugal and reciprocating types.
• Handle chilled‑water and condenser‑water system components, pumps, expansion tanks, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, valves and strainers.
• Program chiller control panels, HMI interfaces, PLC‑based systems and integrate with BMS.
• Perform compressor replacement, alignment, oil charging, fan/motor/bearing replacement, valve and sensor servicing, heat‑exchanger cleaning and refrigerant recovery.
• Conduct water flushing, chemical cleaning, chilled‑water balancing and cooling‑tower maintenance.

Required profile

• Extensive field experience with VRF and chiller installation, commissioning, maintenance and overhaul.
• Ability to manage projects independently from installation through handover.
• Immediate availability; must not be employed elsewhere.
• Preference will be given to Indian applicants.
• Senior‑level expertise and strong diagnostic skills.
