Service Advisor - Ferrari

About the role

Al Tayer Motors is hiring a Service Advisor for its Ferrari dealership in Dubai. The role provides professional service to customers by accurately recording and organising quality repair and maintenance work, advising them on current and future maintenance needs, and helping to improve customer retention and after-sales revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and greet customers, discuss their servicing and repair needs, and guide them on assessment and repair based on manufacturer recommendations.
• Record requirements correctly on the job card, explain the job's contents, value and cost, and obtain customer confirmation before preparing clear work instructions for the technician.
• Follow up with technicians to make sure work progresses properly, then inspect the finished job to confirm it meets the required standard.
• Deliver the vehicle courteously to the customer and the workshop, keeping customers posted on back-order parts and their expected arrival dates.
• Proactively follow up with existing and prospective customers on car performance and service needs, and keep them informed of work progress until vehicles are collected after payment.
• Upsell new accessories, service packages and additional services, and take part in service campaigns.
• Keep track of work in progress and follow up on long-pending vehicles for delivery.
• Upgrade product knowledge through web-based and classroom training, and build good relations with customers and workshop staff.

Required profile

• Vocational qualification in the automotive trade, or a Diploma in Automobile Engineering, or a university degree.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in the automotive trade.
