Service Advisor - UAE National

About the role

Al-Futtaim Automotive is hiring a UAE National Service Advisor for its Abu Dhabi auto centre. The role ensures a professional customer journey and customer retention while contributing to the company's profitability. It involves sales activities such as upselling services and products, and strict compliance with health, safety and environmental standards. Continuous learning and development are expected.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain customer retention by applying the AF standard and principle processes, aiming for a Net Promoter Score above 70.
• Keep customer service values and AF values in line, aiming for a Customer Service Value above 4.6.
• Maintain quality consistently, targeting a First Right First Time rate above 90%.
• Increase profitability through sales and upselling of incremental packages of products and services, measured by Net Sales.
• Implement 5S at work to maintain work discipline, monitored through WIP/GEMBA evaluations.
• Carry out duties as outlined in the business SOP, assessed via PDR metrics.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and prevent harm to the environment.
• Take part in learning and development on new technology, work procedures, time standards and technical know-how.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Automobile).
• 3-6 years of experience as a Body & Paint Service Advisor in a reputable workshop.
• Familiarity with standard operating procedures in the automotive service sector.

Required skills

• Knowledge of body parts and general mechanical components used in Body & Paint repairs.
• Proven ability to maintain high customer service standards and strong sales and upselling skills.
• Ability to implement quality control measures and maintain service discipline.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental compliance in a service setting.
