Service Manager – Automotive Workshop

About the role

Al Ghurair is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead the service advisor function and overall workshop operations at its Dubai dealership. The role combines technical oversight, parts management, and customer service to drive revenue, profit, and high satisfaction standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise service advisors, technicians, and parts team to ensure efficient servicing, repairs, and diagnostics.
• Manage parts supply chain and counter sales, maintaining adequate inventory for the service division.
• Oversee vehicle washing, polishing, and new‑vehicle preparation for the sales division.
• Drive workshop performance against revenue and profit targets while adhering to manufacturer standards.
• Handle warranty diagnosis, claims processing, and compliance with Ministry of Economy customer rights.
• Plan manpower, engage and retain staff, and monitor KPIs for customer journey and service quality.
• Achieve labor and parts targets, maximize workshop productivity, and enforce the “Fix First Time” policy.
• Recruit, train, and manage performance of workshop personnel.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, manufacturer book‑time policies, and parts ordering procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a similar managerial capacity.
• Proven experience with Chinese automotive brands.
• Highly organized, result‑driven, and capable of making tactical decisions.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
