Service Technician – Electric Vehicles

About the role

Join Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility as an EV Service Technician, working on cutting‑edge BYD electric vehicles. You will diagnose, maintain and repair EVs while ensuring safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on BYD electric vehicles following manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot high‑voltage components, battery systems and charging systems.
• Carry out vehicle inspections, support Electronic Vehicle Check (EVC) reporting and ensure minimal downtime.
• Follow all high‑voltage safety procedures, workshop processes and 5S standards.
• Maintain efficient use of parts, tools and workshop resources while collaborating with supervisors and team members.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent technical qualification (ITI, NCVT, ITC, etc.).
• 2–3 years of experience as an automotive, diagnostic or service technician.
• Hands‑on experience with vehicle diagnostics, maintenance and repair.
• Experience with electric or hybrid vehicles is highly preferred; EV or high‑voltage certification is an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence is a plus.
