Service Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Service Technician to join Otis in Sharjah. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventive maintenance on elevators and escalators to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose technical issues in elevator and escalator systems.
• Carry out repairs and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) to maintain optimal performance.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Record all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or B.Tech.
• 5‑8 years of experience in the elevator and escalator industry.
• Strong knowledge of elevator and escalator components and systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
