Site Civil Engineer

About the role

Centercore is seeking an experienced Site Civil Engineer to lead and coordinate large‑scale construction projects in the United Arab Emirates. You will act as the primary liaison between subcontractor teams and the main contractor, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project plans, timelines and monitor progress, mitigating risks proactively.
• Allocate resources, ensuring materials and equipment are available as needed.
• Supervise, lead and motivate subcontractor teams, foremen and workers on site.
• Serve as the main point of contact with the main contractor for day‑to‑day operations.
• Coordinate integration of subcontractor scope with overall project schedule.
• Organise regular site meetings to review progress and resolve issues.
• Enforce strict safety protocols in line with UAE regulations.
• Conduct site inspections to verify quality and compliance with specifications.
• Prepare progress reports for senior management and interim payment applications.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation such as permits, safety records and inspection reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, preferably on large projects.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret project drawings and specifications.
