Site Document Controller

About the role

Egis, an international engineering, consulting and construction firm active in architecture, consulting, construction engineering and mobility services, is hiring a Document Controller for a site in Abu Dhabi. The role manages, tracks, distributes and maintains project documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring correspondence, drawings, technical submittals, reports and contractual documents are properly controlled.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, track, distribute and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all project correspondence, drawings, technical submittals, reports and contractual documents are controlled and managed through Aconex.
• Comply with project requirements, company procedures and client standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in information management or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of document control experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure or consultancy.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Aconex experience on major construction projects.
• Experience on projects in Abu Dhabi or the UAE is highly desirable.
• Permanent contract; business line Energy and Sustainable Cities, service line Buildings, site supervision family.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in the Aconex Document Management System.
• Strong knowledge of document control procedures, workflows and revision management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to prepare document registers, tracking logs and reports.
• Good organisational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
