Site Engineer - Construction & Fit-Out

About the role

Careers International is looking for an experienced Site Engineer with strong experience in construction and interior fit-out projects, based in Dubai. The engineer supervises site activities, coordinates with project teams and subcontractors, and ensures work is completed according to approved drawings, quality standards and project timelines. The salary is up to AED 6,000 per month.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction and fit-out site activities.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Consultants, Subcontractors, Suppliers and site teams.
• Review architectural and construction drawings and identify site requirements.
• Monitor progress and ensure activities are completed within the planned schedule.
• Coordinate manpower, materials and equipment, and prepare daily progress reports and site documentation.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with health, safety and site regulations.
• Identify site issues and coordinate their resolution, attend site meetings, and assist during inspections, snagging and final handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Site Engineer, including mandatory experience in construction and interior fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of site execution, construction methods and fit-out works, and ability to read architectural, structural and fit-out drawings.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors, consultants and project teams; good knowledge of site quality and safety requirements.
• Preferred: UAE/GCC experience, experience with commercial, residential or interior fit-outs, and immediate availability.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination and communication skills.
