Site Engineer - HVAC

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a Site Engineer for HVAC on behalf of a well-known civil and MEP contracting company in the UAE. The role covers ongoing building and infrastructure projects, supervising the installation of HVAC equipment and ensuring quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation of ducting, chilled water piping, FCUs, AHUs and related HVAC equipment
• Monitor insulation, supports and installation quality against approved drawings
• Read HVAC shop drawings and coordinate material requirements
• Raise inspection requests and attend inspections with the consultant
• Allocate daily work to foremen and chargehands and track progress
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation
• Ensure safe working practices and HSE compliance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 1 to 5 years of HVAC site experience in building construction; GCC experience is an advantage
• Valid passport with minimum 2 years' validity
• Good English communication; Hindi or Arabic is an advantage
• Ready to join at the earliest or within the notice period

Required skills

• Ability to read HVAC drawings and understand SMACNA/ASHRAE basics
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office
