Site Engineer

About the role

The Site Engineer will be responsible for coordinating construction projects across the client’s facilities, ensuring that subcontracted services meet program schedules, budgets and quality expectations. Reporting to the Project Manager, the role acts as the company’s on‑site representative.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in managing subcontractors and daily project documentation such as Daily Reports, Execution Plans, Health & Safety Plans and QA/QC plans.
• Monitor contractor performance on schedule, plans and specifications, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Track project performance against time and budget constraints and communicate results to the project team.
• Manage changes in project processes to address operational shortcomings.
• Plan and coordinate resources, including inputs from offices, sub‑consultants and suppliers, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with the Facility Manager team and champion best practices.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Projects & Minor Works Manager or reporting Director.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Facilities Management or Civil Engineering.
• More than 3 years of construction experience on major projects in the UAE, preferably within an airport environment.
