Site Engineer – Spa & Wellness

About the role

As a Site Engineer – Spa & Wellness you will coordinate and monitor the installation of specialist spa and wellness facilities across luxury hospitality projects, ensuring quality, compliance and seamless delivery from start‑up to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the installation of saunas, steam rooms, hammams, experience showers and other thermal wellness environments.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, technical specifications and installation requirements.
• Manage interfaces between architectural, MEP and specialist equipment subcontractors.
• Oversee progress, sequencing, manpower, material availability and equipment deliveries.
• Prepare and control technical documentation such as RFIs, method statements and as‑built records.
• Coordinate inspections, quality reviews, defect rectification and support testing, commissioning and handover activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction, fit‑out or specialist installation works.
• At least 5 years dedicated to Spa & Wellness or thermal facility projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Experience on luxury hotels, resorts or high‑end hospitality developments is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of Spa & Wellness installation requirements and thermal facility construction systems.
• Ability to interpret shop drawings, technical specifications and detailed installation documents.
• Proficiency in site progress monitoring, inspection coordination and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of insulation, waterproofing, specialist finishes, testing and commissioning activities.
