Site Manager - Construction Projects

About the role

Met T&S, the employment company of the MAIRE group, is recruiting Site Managers for its expanding permanent staff. The role reports functionally to the Project Manager and hierarchically to the Construction Department Manager, and represents the company towards clients, subcontractors and, where necessary, local authorities. It covers construction and site management across North Africa, the Middle East and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee personnel and site activities, including HSE performance, quality, duration and costs of construction.
• Ensure project responsibilities for construction and site management comply with HSE, time schedules, costs and quality, and legal requirements.
• Implement the Group HSE policy, HSE management system and related performance targets at site.
• Manage the contract with the client and site subcontracts through site management personnel.
• Organize and develop local procurement of materials.
• Ensure continuity between construction completion and pre-commissioning to optimize the project schedule.
• Set up reporting to Head Office and to the client, and prepare the site final report.
• Take actions to prevent interruptions to erection activities, reduce delays and keep costs within budget.
