Sleeving Operator

About the role

The Sleeving Operator position is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Sharjah. You will operate sleeving machinery to apply sleeves or labels to products, ensuring compliance with production specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate sleeving or labeling equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor production runs, record output data and report any deviations.
• Inspect finished products for correct sleeve placement and defects.
• Perform routine equipment checks, minor mechanical adjustments and simple troubleshooting.
• Follow all safety guidelines, use personal protective equipment and maintain a clean work area.
• Coordinate with supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets.

Required profile

• Experience operating production or packaging machinery, preferably sleeving or labeling equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for minor adjustments and routine equipment checks.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate sleeve placement and defect identification.
• Awareness of workplace safety practices and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Capability to work in a fast‑paced environment, stand for extended periods and meet production targets.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with team members and supervisors.
• Previous manufacturing or packaging experience is preferred; vocational or technical training is an advantage.
• Willingness to work shifts if required and demonstrate reliability and professionalism.
