Social Editor – Bilingual (English/Arabic)

About the role

Hypebeast Arabia is seeking a young, culturally‑connected Social Editor to lead its bilingual social strategy. This entry‑level position blends fashion journalism with social‑media storytelling, bridging English‑speaking and Arabic‑speaking audiences across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, curate and adapt Hypebeast‑related content for local and international audiences.
• Draft all social copy and narratives fluently in both English and Arabic.
• Create social‑first assets, including simple Reels and event recaps.
• Collaborate with the regional Commercial team to align social output with partnership campaigns.
• Attend and cover key industry events, providing real‑time updates and on‑ground perspectives.
• Monitor social platforms for breaking news and viral trends to keep the brand at the forefront of cultural conversations.
• Adjust content strategy based on audience behavior and platform algorithm changes.

Required profile

• Native‑level fluency in both English and Arabic, written and spoken.
• Passion for fashion, culture and lifestyle with a keen sense of emerging trends.
• Willingness to travel and attend events for content capture.
• Strong editorial voice that can support brand partnerships without compromising integrity.

Required skills

• Basic video/reel editing.
• Proficiency with Photoshop and other creative photography tools.
