Social Media Lead

About the role

Circles, a global technology company founded in 2014 that helps telco operators build digital brands, is looking for a Social Media Lead in Dubai. The role owns and grows the brand's social presence across the UAE, combining content, community and brand activation, and leads the social media function end-to-end, from strategy and content planning through execution, community management and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Own the social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube Shorts and Snapchat, aligned to brand and commercial objectives
• Plan and manage a monthly content calendar, brief and work with creative, production and agency partners, and maintain brand consistency across platforms
• Manage day-to-day community engagement, monitor brand sentiment and nurture relationships with brand advocates and creators
• Develop social-first campaign concepts and track and report on organic social performance
• Identify and manage UAE-based influencers and creators, tracking campaign performance against KPIs
• Stay ahead of platform changes and trends, run a test-and-learn approach and bring proactive ideas to the team

Required profile

• 5-8 years of experience in social media management, preferably in a digital-first brand, agency or consumer tech environment in the UAE or GCC
• Track record of growing audiences on Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn; Snapchat experience is a plus
• Hands-on experience with Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager and social scheduling/analytics tools
• Experience managing or coordinating influencer campaigns in the UAE
• Fluent English; Arabic is a strong advantage
• Commercial awareness and cultural attunement to the UAE market
