Social Media Manager

About the role

Sajada is looking for a Social Media Manager to run its social channels and grow a community of Muslims who love the brand. You will plan and post on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and Pinterest, turn products, creators and customers into shareable content, and reply to the community every day. You report to the Brand & Creative Director and work closely with the creative strategist, video editors, Partnerships & Influencer Manager and Head of Growth. AI agents handle captions, trend tracking and reporting, so you focus on ideas, filming and the community.

Key responsibilities

• Create a monthly content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook and Pinterest, centred on Ramadan, Eid, Black Friday and monthly drops
• Produce short-form videos, carousels and stories, from script and filming to editing and captioning
• Use content from creators, customers and the team with permission and credit
• Adapt trends quickly while presenting faith with care
• Reply to comments and DMs daily and pass order questions to customer support
• Collect customer photos, reviews and feedback and share requests with product and creative teams
• Run giveaways, live streams and collaborations with partners
• Report weekly on reach, followers, saves, shares and traffic to the store, and send performing organic posts to the growth team to test as ads

Required profile

• 3+ years managing social media for a consumer, lifestyle or e-commerce brand, with accounts you can show
• Ability to film and edit short-form video yourself, on camera or behind it
• Strong eye for design and photography, and a sense of what stops people scrolling
• Accounts grown through organic content, with results to show
• Understanding of Islamic practice and respectful presentation of faith
• Excellent written English; Arabic or French is a plus
