Social Media Marketing Specialist

About the role

A company is looking for a creative, organized and results-driven Social Media Specialist to manage and grow its social media presence. The role covers creating engaging content, running social media accounts, implementing digital marketing strategies and increasing brand awareness and audience engagement across platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with company goals.
• Create, edit and publish content such as posts, stories, reels, videos and graphics, and maintain a monthly content calendar.
• Manage daily activities across platforms and respond promptly to comments, messages and customer inquiries.
• Track performance with analytics tools and prepare regular reports.
• Plan, run and optimise paid social media advertising campaigns.
• Identify trends, audience interests and competitor activity, and collaborate with marketing, design and sales teams on promotions.
• Maintain brand consistency and recommend improvements to boost reach, engagement and conversions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing.
• Strong organisational skills, creativity and attention to detail; able to manage several projects and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Basic graphic design and video editing.
• Experience with Canva, Meta Business Suite and social media analytics tools.
• Paid social media advertising knowledge is an advantage.
