Social Media Specialist

About the role

Ohana Development is looking for a hands-on Social Media Specialist to support the execution of social media content and community management across all digital channels. The role focuses on day-to-day content production, scheduling and engagement, working closely with the Communication Manager/Social Media Manager to bring the content calendar to life.

Key responsibilities

• Create, edit and schedule posts, stories, reels and short-form video content on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X and YouTube
• Produce content aligned with the monthly calendar and campaign priorities, write on-brand captions and copy, and source, resize and format images, video and graphics with the design team while following the brand manual
• Monitor and respond to comments, DMs and mentions, track engagement daily and flag sensitive issues, and support influencer and partner tagging and outreach
• Maintain the content calendar and coordinate with design, photography/videography teams and external agencies; support shoots and event coverage
• Pull weekly and monthly performance data (reach, engagement, follower growth) and help compile performance reports, keeping archives of published content and assets

Required profile

• 1-3 years of experience in social media coordination, content creation or community management; real estate developer experience is a must
• Strong copywriting skills and an eye for on-brand visual content
• Excellent written and verbal English (Arabic a plus); high attention to detail and comfort with confidential or partner-sensitive content
• Organized, responsive and able to work to a content calendar and deadlines

Required skills

• Platform-native tools (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and native scheduling tools
• Basic photo/video editing (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express or similar) a plus
