About the role

We are partnering with a leading integrated marketing agency in Dubai to find a Social Media Strategist who will shape innovative, insight‑driven social strategies for a portfolio of well‑known client accounts. This strategic role bridges account management and creative teams, ensuring every piece of content is rooted in audience insight, cultural relevance, and platform best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of end‑to‑end social media strategies across multiple client accounts.
• Translate client objectives into clear content direction, platform strategies, and campaign ideas.
• Define content pillars, tone of voice, and storytelling frameworks for brands on social channels.
• Collaborate closely with creative, content, and account teams to ensure strategic alignment and executional excellence.
• Use social listening, platform insights, and trend analysis to identify engagement and growth opportunities.
• Guide the ideation process, ensuring concepts are insight‑driven, culturally relevant, and platform‑native.
• Oversee performance of social content and refine strategies based on data and learnings.
• Stay ahead of platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging social trends.
• Present strategic thinking and recommendations confidently to internal teams and clients.

Required profile

• Strong experience in social media strategy, ideally within an agency environment.
• Proven ability to build and execute social strategies across multiple brands or accounts.
• Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X and emerging channels.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi‑client agency setting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
• Analytical mindset capable of turning data and insights into creative direction.
• A genuine passion for culture, content, and what performs on social.
