Social Worker

About the role

The Social Worker will support students in higher primary grades (4‑6) by identifying and addressing social‑emotional and environmental factors that hinder learning. Working within a faith‑based school environment, the role combines counselling, case management and collaboration with teachers and families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counselling to students facing social, emotional, or behavioural challenges.
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans aligned with child psychology principles.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and external agencies to create supportive learning environments.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with UAE educational regulations.
• Participate in school-wide wellbeing initiatives and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with a focus on Child Psychology and Counselling.
• Minimum two years of experience working in a school setting.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Eligibility to work in the UAE and ability to provide attested academic documents.
• Commitment to a two‑year fixed‑term contract; three vacancies available.
