Software Engineer - Applications & Digital Products

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island, the first integrated resort in the UAE set to open in 2027, is looking for a Software Engineer to join its Applications & Digital Products team. The role covers designing and developing services for the resort's digital applications, with a strong emphasis on code quality, reliability and incident handling.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop services that will transform the hospitality industry in the UAE
• Write clean code with high unit and integration test coverage
• Perform code review, give feedback and take part in design sessions
• Review reliability, load testing, cost efficiency and security
• Make services visible through metrics, dashboards and alerts
• Promote best practices and continuously improve solutions
• Handle incidents and problems, including prioritisation, escalation, root cause analysis and resolution
• Drive automation focused on productivity improvements
• Communicate clearly and diplomatically with operations and technology partners across regions

Required profile

• Strong proficiency (4+ years) in modern .NET/C#, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Experience in distributed system architecture (microservices, event-driven, REST)
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, mathematics or a related field
• Ability to work independently as well as in a group

• SQL Server and Redis
• Docker, Terraform, IaC and Kubernetes
• Monitoring tools such as DataDog and NewRelic
• Automated end-to-end testing
