Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join a leading e‑commerce technology team on a fully remote basis. The role focuses on building and scaling backend services that power real‑time user experiences for millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in distributed environments.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following industry best practices.
• Profile, debug, and optimize system performance and algorithms.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver features.

Required profile

• New‑grad or early‑career professional with a strong foundation in software engineering.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Passion for solving complex technical challenges in high‑traffic systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience or familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud‑native development.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
