Software Engineer - ElectronJS, Desktop (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join a global technology leader and focus on building high‑quality desktop applications with ElectronJS. This fully remote, full‑time position offers the chance to work on a widely used platform and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain desktop applications using ElectronJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and optimise new features while ensuring performance and scalability.
• Translate product requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with product teams.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues reported by users or identified through testing.

Required profile

• Proven experience with ElectronJS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development.
• Hands‑on experience with Node.js and front‑end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event‑driven architectures.
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
• Experience using testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
