Software Engineer - ElectronJS, Desktop (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using ElectronJS. This full‑time remote position works with a global technology leader, delivering high‑quality, performant software that enhances user experience across a widely used platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross‑platform desktop applications with ElectronJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and optimise new features while ensuring scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Debug, test, and resolve issues reported by users or identified through automated testing.

Required profile

• Proven experience building desktop applications with ElectronJS.
• Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript and asynchronous, event‑driven programming.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
