Software Engineer - ElectronJS, Desktop (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Software Engineer specialized in ElectronJS to design, develop, and maintain desktop applications. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with cross‑functional product and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain desktop applications using ElectronJS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and optimise new features with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Translate product requirements into technical specifications and clean, maintainable code.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues reported by users or identified through testing.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to deliver cohesive solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience building desktop applications with ElectronJS.
• Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front‑end frameworks.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event‑driven architectures.
• Experience working with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Ability to write unit and integration tests using frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
