About the role
CitySolar is seeking a motivated Solar PV Design Engineer to join its team in Dubai. The role involves designing solar photovoltaic systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop Solar PV systems, preparing layouts, single‑line diagrams, calculations and technical documentation.
- Utilize PVSyst and AutoCAD to produce accurate project designs and ensure compliance with DEWA and TAQA regulations.
- Coordinate with project teams to support successful installation and execution of Solar PV projects.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or relevant diploma) with at least 2 years of experience in Solar PV design, or a fresh graduate with relevant education.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and applicable standards.
Required skills
- PVSyst software.
- AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of DEWA and TAQA PV regulations.
