Solution Architect

About the role

We are seeking a senior Solution Architect to lead the design of end‑to‑end solutions across data platforms and digital engineering initiatives for our automotive dealership and distribution business in Dubai. The role translates business needs into technical architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise frameworks such as TOGAF.

Key responsibilities

• Design and document high‑level solution architectures, data flow diagrams, system interaction and integration patterns.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, developers and DevOps teams to deliver cohesive, scalable solutions.
• Evaluate, select and recommend technologies, platforms and frameworks that meet project and organizational goals.
• Drive architectural governance, obtain approvals and enforce standards, patterns and policies.
• Perform business capability modeling, gap analysis and roadmap definition for As‑Is, Transition and Target architectures.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship and guidance to engineering teams.
• Stay current on emerging AI, Generative AI and Azure cloud technologies and assess their fit for business value.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in a solution architecture role with data and digital engineering exposure.
• Proven experience in business architecture, capability modeling and roadmap creation.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, especially for senior leadership audiences.
• Background in the automotive dealership & distribution industry is essential.
