Solutions Architect - UAE

About the role

Cohere, a security-first enterprise AI company building foundation AI models and end-to-end products, is hiring a Solutions Architect for the UAE. The role helps grow Cohere's business in the UAE and the wider MENA region by partnering with account executives, partners and executive leadership to show the value of its technology to the market and build on the success of flagship customers such as STC. It sits at the intersection of forward-deployed engineering and AI transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of customer problems, map them to Cohere solutions and act as the trusted technical advisor owning the technical relationship with stakeholders.
• Lead the technical talk track on customer calls and design enterprise architectures for North deployments.
• Run deep dives on customer queries and Cohere technology, and facilitate customer evaluations and pilots.
• Take ownership of the customer narrative, acting as a liaison between customers and the product team.
• Guide customers on best practices, identify areas for improvement in the platform and cultivate technical champions within customer organisations.
• Develop and document processes that let the solutions architect team and adjacent teams scale, and work with Product and Engineering teams so the offering matches customer needs.
• Work with partners to develop a strategy for enabling and accelerating their customers.

Required profile

• 3+ years of customer-facing technical pre/post-sales experience as a Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Digital Strategy Consultant or similar.
• Passion for Generative AI and an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of Generative LLMs and AI technologies.
• Familiarity with foundational ML concepts (training, evaluation, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills, able to present to CEOs and get into the weeds with technical audiences.
• Comfortable in ambiguous, uncharted environments and able to identify and implement high-impact processes.
• Preferred: 2+ years architecting, deploying or consulting on NLP/AI/LLM solutions.
• Must have native-level Arabic and be based in Dubai, UAE.
