Sous Chef - Nobu By The Beach

About the role

Atlantis The Royal, part of Kerzner International, is looking for a Sous Chef for its Nobu By The Beach restaurant. The Sous Chef assists the Chef de Cuisine in leading, managing and organising all requirements to the highest standards, in line with standard operating procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure proper hygiene and sanitation in the areas under your jurisdiction
• Maintain adequate stocks of working materials
• Coordinate with other departments and support staff training
• Enforce service standard procedures by directing, supervising and motivating staff to deliver the highest level of service

Required profile

• Diploma in Catering, or 5 years' experience in a 5-star international chain
• 1-2 years' experience in a Nikkei cuisine venue or sushi restaurant
