Spa Therapist

About the role

A passionate and professional Spa Therapist is sought to join the wellness team at Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You will deliver exceptional spa experiences in a luxury hospitality setting, creating memorable wellness journeys for guests while developing your expertise in advanced treatment techniques and personalized care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver spa treatments in line with brand standards, treatment protocols and luxury service expectations, with personalized, results-driven care.
• Create warm, welcoming guest experiences through genuine hospitality, expert knowledge and attention to detail.
• Recommend customized retail products, homecare and personalized treatment plans, and suggest upgrades and enhancements to improve the guest experience.
• Build guest relationships through empathy and understanding, encouraging loyalty and repeat visits.
• Work with spa reception, fitness and wellness teams and resort colleagues to ensure a seamless luxury experience.
• Maintain treatment rooms to high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation, following health and safety regulations.
• Take part in ongoing training, brand education and professional development.
• Organize treatment schedules, prepare treatment spaces and complete administrative tasks efficiently.

Required profile

• Recognized professional Spa Therapist qualification (HNC/HND, Level 3, ITEC, VTCT, CIBTAC, CIDESCO or equivalent).
• Proven experience delivering spa treatments in a professional setting.
• Knowledge of wellness, skincare and treatment protocols.
• Excellent communication skills, strong service mindset and a warm, confident manner.
• Ability to recommend and upsell retail products and treatment enhancements.
• Impeccable personal presentation and grooming, physical stamina and good posture.
• Solid understanding of hygiene, sanitation and health and safety standards.
• Positive, flexible and proactive approach to teamwork.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in luxury hospitality or five-star spa environments.
• Advanced training or certifications in specialized treatment modalities.
• Experience with premium skincare brands and wellness products.
• Ability to build guest loyalty and knowledge of wellness trends.
• Multilingual abilities, particularly Arabic or other languages spoken in Dubai.
• Experience with spa management systems or booking software.
