Special Education Teacher (SEN) – Dubai

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join its middle‑school team in Dubai. You will work on‑site delivering inclusive lessons to students with diverse learning needs and supporting their academic and social development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons for students with disabilities in primary and middle‑school classes.
• Develop, implement and regularly review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each learner.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff and parents to monitor progress and adjust interventions.
• Assess student performance, maintain accurate records and report outcomes.
• Utilise assistive technology tools to enhance accessibility and learning outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in special education, preferably with primary and middle‑school students.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to design and adapt individualized education plans.
• Familiarity with best practices in inclusive education and diverse student groups.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
