Specialist Family Medicine Physician

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Specialist Family Medicine Physician. The physician provides comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and families, with a focus on preventive medicine, acute illnesses and the long-term management of chronic conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary healthcare services to patients across different age groups
• Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and respiratory disorders
• Conduct routine health assessments, preventive screenings and wellness consultations
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
• Provide immunizations, health education and preventive care
• Coordinate referrals to specialists when needed and maintain continuity of care through follow-ups and counseling
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of patient safety

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• MD/DNB in Family Medicine or an equivalent postgraduate qualification
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred
• Experience in primary care, preventive medicine and chronic disease management
