Specialist Pathologist – Australian Board (Relocate to UAE)

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Specialist or Consultant Pathologist with an Australian‑recognized qualification to join a reputable healthcare facility in Sharjah, UAE. The role involves delivering accurate diagnostic services in line with international standards and UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Examine and interpret tissue specimens, biopsies, surgical samples, blood films and body fluids to establish accurate diagnoses.
• Perform and report histopathological and cytopathological examinations, including immunohistochemistry, special stains and molecular pathology.
• Correlate laboratory findings with clinical history, imaging and other investigations to support treatment planning.
• Supervise laboratory workflows, quality control measures and ensure compliance with accreditation, biosafety and patient confidentiality standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, clinical audits and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and Australian specialist qualification in Pathology (e.g., FRCPA).
• Relevant specialist training and post‑qualification experience meeting UAE licensing requirements.
• Current or eligible medical registration in Australia with a Good Standing Certificate.
• Eligibility for Specialist or Consultant classification under DHA, DOH or MOHAP.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic and clinical communication skills and willingness to relocate.
