Specialist Planning Engineer

About the role

The Specialist Planning Engineer will lead project control activities for large‑scale oil & gas or petrochemical projects, ensuring schedules, costs and risks are managed in line with the Project Execution Plan.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline schedules, monitor performance, and manage change control.
• Provide earned value management guidance, risk analysis and cost variance reporting.
• Integrate schedules from multiple contractors, assess impacts, and produce progress certification and invoice payment documentation.
• Coordinate internal and external project reviews, generate weekly/monthly progress reports, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent with at least 15 years of relevant oil & gas or petrochemical experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar senior project control role on mega‑scale projects, including ADNOC offshore, FEED and EPC phases.
• Proven experience with PMC environments and large‑scale contract management.
